You are in for a real treat for today’s episode, because I’m joined by another dear friend of mine, Sara Elise Johnson!
Sara and I connected on our recent mastermind retreat, and the knowledge and energy she radiates is undeniably contagious. Sara is a wife, mom, author, and Life Coach; she helps others transform and move forward in their lives, despite the circumstances they are facing. After experiencing her own physical and mental health battles (one of the biggest being told she would never be able to have children), Sara knew she wanted to turn her pain into purpose. She now supports women with their own healing and rejuvenation in a way that allows them to love and accept their true selves on a deep soul level. Nobody does this work quite like Sara, and just like she empowers her clients to do, she is stepping into HER power, and coming home to herself.
In today’s episode, Sara and I are talking about healing to the depths of your soul. Contrary to popular belief, working on your mindset is not going to get you to the place of true healing, inner peace, freedom, and connection you’re desiring. Your body always remembers more than your brain, so it’s vital to understand that real, deep self-care (not the temporary relief a bubble bath or massage will provide) is necessary to refuel and recharge you going forward. Moving away from the constant ‘hustle culture’ to-do list mentality that surrounds us in the world today, and instead, building a deeper spiritual connection with yourself is powerful! We tend to overcomplicate soo much, but when you start intentionally connecting with God and nature, and focusing on your spirit, body, and mind (in that order), all of this will undoubtedly bring more peace and healing into your life.
Regardless of the path you’re pursuing, you have to lead the way – the peace in your relationships, your business, your home, etc., all has to start with YOU. Sara is such a beautiful gift in this world, and I could have talked with her for hours! If you’re on a personal growth journey and need support with healing to the depths of your soul, you do NOT want to miss this truly enriching conversation – I know it will be life-giving for you!
Sara is the definition of fun! She loves to laugh and find ways to bring out her inner-child, connecting all parts of her. When she isn’t “momming” or working, she will be found outside on some adventure connecting with God and nature. Sara graduated with her Associates Degree at age 17 and graduated 2 years later with her Bachelors Degree in Biology, Psychology and Physical Education – studying the Mind, Body, and Spirit connection. Sara chose to become a Life Coach to help others transform and move forward in their lives, despite the circumstances they are facing.
After experiencing her own physical and mental health battles, Sara knew she wanted to turn her pain into purpose. Sara is an Author of a Maternal Mental Health Workbook, Finding Your Diamond Through the Rough, and thrives off of public speaking! She feels her purpose is to repay the goodness of her life by investing in the lives of others. She is to let every woman know they aren’t alone, as well as provide healing and rejuvenation emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually to help women everywhere become the best version of themselves, inside and out. The women that work with Sara walk away fully loving and accepting their true self. They learn to step into their POWER and take back their lives all while coming back home to themselves.
