I’m excited to welcome my good friend, Kylie Epperson, back to the podcast today!
Kylie is one of my favorite people on this earth, and we’ve been through SO much together over the last couple of years. We’ve definitely expanded and grown since our first conversation on the podcast (which kind of feels like forever ago – you can check it out here)!
Kylie calls herself ‘your farm wife bestie’, but she wears many incredible hats. Like myself, Kylie has been on quite the journey of self-discovery over the last few years. She found herself in a season that felt pretty challenging and downright HARD. Kylie thought she needed to be ‘perfect’ at everything she was doing (sound familiar??), but she quickly realized she was holding herself to unrealistic standards.
Going from a career as a style and color consultant with House of Colour, to diving all in on Farm Wives Club (her beautiful community that’s bringing together women in ag and farming), Kylie is no longer questioning her worth, or wondering if what she’s doing is ‘enough’!
In today’s episode, we talk about the concept of ‘grow, hoe, and sow’, and what cultivating joy and authentic living really looks like. As we’re at the beginning of a fresh, new year, this is the time to reflect, and get crystal clear on what intentionality you’re bringing to the year ahead.
Kylie created a tool to help you do just that. Her ‘Grow, Hoe, Sow’ tool is something that can be used in your daily life, whether you’re looking for something simple, or something to kickstart a transformation that you’re BEYOND ready for. You can think of it as growing what you love, hoeing out the crap that’s no longer serving you, and sowing the joy and happiness that you’re craving!
Kylie and I also discuss our love for Human Design, and how LIFE-CHANGING that journey has been for both of us. When you discover your Human Design, and specifically, your energy type, everything about yourself suddenly makes sooo much more sense!
Once you understand how you’re designed to work, you can get to a place of true alignment in your life. No longer are you feeling ‘stuck’, or comparing yourself to everyone around you. The self-discovery piece of Human Design is pretty mind-blowing, and honestly, such a game-changer!
I’m so, so grateful for Kylie’s friendship, and to have experienced this transformation over the last few years. I’ve loved watching her ‘follow the fun’, and really give herself permission to continue exploring what lights her up. I hope our conversation encourages you to do the same – it’s never too late to begin cultivating joy and authentic living in YOUR own life, too!
